**What we're looking for**
- Better aligning operational models with organizational mandates, goals and objectives
- Reducing process complexity, increasing process efficiency and increasing process effectiveness
- Analyze, model and visualize data to support and substantiate options and recommendations for improvement
- Provide communications and change management support throughout the project life cycle

**A day in the life**

**Project Management**
- Oversee project team and manage client relationship
- Manage resource planning and project budget
- Track progress against expected timelines
- Identify risks and manage issues
- Responsible for drafting client deliverables

**Business Review and Optimization**
- Complete detailed review of background documentation and synthesize findings and identify information gaps
- Organize and facilitate meetings with stakeholders to understand current environment, processes, root causes, and expected outcomes
- Analyze policies and business requirements to identify information, procedures, and decision flows
- Evaluate and/or develop performance framework/targets and identify key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Gather financial and operational data and assess the costs and benefits of current processes and proposed future state environments
- Carry out or coordinate industry/benchmark research as required
- Develop operational and business documentation to support the understanding of current state and proposed future state environments
- Identify opportunities for improvement/optimization and develop and present recommendations substantiated through qualitative and quantitative measures and supported by industry leading practices
- Develop high-level/detailed implementation strategies, plans and/or timelines

**Change Management**
- Lead the assessment of change impacts and requirements and provide valuable input, advice, and expertise on issues relating to managing change
- Design and develop change management and communication strategies

**What you'll bring to the table**
- University degree in Business, Business Administration, Finance, or another related field
- 5+ years experience as a Business Transformation/Process Consultant managing project teams and providing recommendations related to modifying, redesigning or optimizing existing business processes or designing and developing new business processes in support of more efficient business operations
- One (1) of the following certifications:

- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt (LSSGB) Certification
- Lean Six Sigma Black Belt (LSSBB) Certification
- Project Management Professional (PMP)
- Certified Change Management Professional (CCMP)
- ProSci Change Management Certification
- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of how technology can be leveraged to support the optimization of business environments, processes and/or decision-making practices
- Excellent business writing skills
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Visio
- Enhanced Reliability/Secret clearance or eligible to obtain
- Bilingual (French and English)

- Certified Professional Accountant (CPA)
- Certified Internal Auditor (CIA)
- Any of the following certifications:

- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt (LSSGB) Certification
- Lean Six Sigma Black Belt (LSSBB) Certification
- Project Management Professional (PMP)
- Certified Change Management Professional (CCMP)
- ProSci Change Management Certification
- Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP)
- Working knowledge of:

- Structured Query Language (SQL) scripting
- Python
- Visual Basic for Applications (VBA)
- Microsoft Power BI
- Microsoft Power Query (Excel)
- Previous experience providing services to Canadian Government Departments, Agencies, or Crown Corporations
