**Position Overview**:
The Continuous Improvement Manager is responsible for managing the Company's CI program and the supervision of the CI team. The CI Manager will work with the executive team to select and prioritize CI projects, providing status updates and measures showing project success. This position will monitor CI projects and take appropriate action to ensure milestones are being met. They will also provide technical oversight and assistance to the solutions being recommended and implemented.

**What You Will Do**:

- Department supervision including related administrative duties
- Manage, monitor and report on activities related to employee performance and attendance
- Manage, monitor, prioritize, and report on CI projects
- Project Management for CI projects
- Ensure project success measures are developed and recommended solutions are sound.
- Take necessary steps to ensure projects meet their timelines
- Spend a minimum of 25% of time with projects or project tasks you will take responsibility for
- Effective communication with stakeholders throughout the organization to ensure project success

**What You Will Bring**:

- Bachelors of Engineering, Industrial preferred
- Professional Engineer, membership (or eligible) with ENS
- Project Management Professional (PMP) would be an asset
- Minimum of 7 years of Industrial Engineering or Continuous Improvement experience, Aerospace or Manufacturing environment preferred, Unionized environment preferred
- Project Management experience
- Specific experience implementing solutions using Lean, Six Sigma, or Continuous Improvement tools and methodologies
- Experience in projects involving a technological solution would be an asset
- Strong leadership, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong written and oral communication and presentation skills
- Strong stakeholder management and change management skills
- Experience managing requirements, changes, and documentation for enterprise software systems is preferred
- Experience in developing project charters
- Experience with enterprise software projects is preferred
- Previous management or supervisory experience is preferred

Must be eligible to meet requirements for Canadian Controlled Goods Program (CGP), Secret Level II Security Clearance through PSPC- Contract Security Program, and Transport Canada RAIC clearance.
