We are seeking compassionate support workers to join our team. The support worker will assist adults with developmental disabilities with daily activities, personal care, and companionship.

This offers employees a valuable opportunity to develop new skills while gaining diverse social and environmental experiences. This is a casual position with flexible hours, tailored to meet the needs of the families and the availability of the caregiver.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide support at Individual's home or community, as requested
- Administer medication as directed by healthcare professionals if applicable
- Assist with mobility if applicable
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals according to dietary requirements, if applicable
- Maintain positive working relationships with all involved in the care of the individual.
- Assist Individuals with ADLS to be more independent

**Skills and Requirements**:

- Experiences and/or education supporting individuals who have developmental disabilities
- Ability to administer medications following prescribed instructions
- Valid Driver’s License
- First Aid/CPR Certificate
- Food Safe Certificate
- Clear Criminal Record Check
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Report writing skill
- Mandt Training OR NCI Certificate

** NOTE**: The position has a flexible schedule. At the moment, the preference is for someone who is available from the afternoon to the evening.

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $22.00-$25.00 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Maple Ridge, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
