Distillery Tasting Room Bartender

We are looking for motivated & enthusiastic individuals to represent our growing business in our distillery tasting room and at tasting events in and around Sherwood Park. Most shifts are evenings and weekends, 4-6-hour shifts. Each associate will prepare for and serve drinks to visitors of our distillery or samples at liquor store tasting events. Experience with serving is an asset. Basic knowledge of different types of liquor and cocktails is required, although training will be provided.

Hawke Prohibition Distilleries Inc. is the creator of Baby-X-vodka, Sugar Lips Shimmer vodka, Sir Periwinkle's Gin, William’s London Dry, Lady Sophia Strawberry Hibiscus gin, and Thick & Dirty cream liquor.

This contracted position would require the following:

- Pro-serve License (18+only)
- Valid Drivers License
- Reliable Vehicle

**Requirements and Qualifications**:

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proserve certificate (must be +18)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Positive and friendly attitude, can work independently or with a team
- Must be able to lift more than 30 pounds
- Outgoing and comfortable in busy environment
- Passionate about the product
- Honest and trustworthy
- Reliable and punctual
- Ability to stand for long periods of time

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Greet and assist customers in an engaging and professional manner
- Maintain current and thorough knowledge of all available products
- Pick up stock and supplies, drive to event, set up display as instructed
- Handle all transactions with accuracy
- Encourage repeat sales by delivering friendly and knowledgeable service
- Keep the bar/display neat, clean and well-presented at all times
- Follow directions given by supervisor

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent, Casual
Part-time hours: 4-12 per week

**Salary**: $15.00-$17.00 per hour
