**Key Objective(s)**:
Laundry Attendants are responsible for cleaning, folding, and sorting all linens and towels in the laundry department.

**Primary Responsibilities**:

- Counting of linens as they are processed and return to laundry for accurate record keeping.
- Place linens on designated shelving in the linen rooms.
- Fold towels and other linens which are washed in house and place them on designated shelving in the linen room.
- Clean equipment, linen trucks, shelving and the linen room floor on a daily basis.
- Follow instructions as per laundry supervisor.
- Be familiar with Fire Emergency and Security procedures.
- Maintain good personal hygiene and appearance.
- Participate in linen inventory.
- Sort and prepare outgoing linens in emergency situations.
- Sorting, washing and drying of in-house linens.
- Other responsibilities as required.

**Desired Qualifications**:

- Must be able to stand for up to eight (8) hours a day.
- Must be self motivated and be able to work independently.
- Able to lift heavy objects.
- Previous cleaning experience is a definite asset.

**Terms of Employment**:

- This is a part-time position that required flexible availability including days, evenings, and weekends.
- Must be able to pass a basic security clearance.
