In charge of all front of house operations, including scheduling and ordering, coordinating with event convenors, the Chef and the Sales department. Oversee beverage Cart Operations, and Halfway House Operations.

**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Helps establishes the standards for performance for all food and beverage employees
- Is aware of annual operating budgets and operates within this budget
- Manages all league member, tournament and private party functions
- Makes recommendations to the Director of Operations for the purchase of any capital equipment required in the clubhouse or improvements of equipment, furnishings and accoutrements of all clubhouse areas
- Examines trends in the industry and makes recommendations for consideration and implementation (i.e., menu development) manages the preparation of all food and beverage menus and costing, includes bar and wine lists and promotional events
- Hires and manages staff within the designated food and beverage department
- Develops and implements inventory control methods for all food and beverage areas
- Ensures and maintains employee efficiency and controls
- Creates and updates training manuals
- Supervises or conducts training and training procedures
- Scheduling for FOH operations and ensuring labour control within budget
- Ensures that the food and beverage areas are in a clean and organized condition and that equipment is maintained in good working condition (responsibility co-shared with kitchen head)
- Regularly schedules and chairs meetings of all supervisory staff
- Attends weekly function/team meetings with food and beverage managers, area supervisor, golf professionals and sales team
- Attends any relevant seminars and conferences that may be held and invited to
- Acts as relief for employees and supervisors in emergency situations
- Assists in develop new promotional ideas and help with the creation of new marketing strategies
- Full and thorough knowledge of P.O.S system
- Updating of all aspects of POS systems - menu updates, price changes etc.

EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

- 2 to 3 years of relevant experience
- Smart serve certification, First Aid and CPR, Safe Food Handling
- College or University degree (management, human relations, hospitality or business administration) or relevant experience

WORKING CONDITIONS:
¨ Evening and weekend work required during peak season, emergencies, and special projects

¨ Stationary work station and/or mobile work station needs provided

**Salary**: $45,000.00-$52,000.00 per year

- 8 hour shift
