**Job Overview**

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications
- Maintain pharmacy inventory by checking pharmaceutical stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed medications and supplies; placing and expediting orders; verifying receipt; removing outdated drugs
- Process prescriptions accurately and efficiently
- Provide quality customer service to patients
- Handle administrative tasks such as answering phones, managing cash register, and filing paperwork
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and policies

**Qualifications**:

- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Experience with Kroll
- Previous experience as a Pharmacy Assistant in Canada is a plus
- Strong focus on patient care and safety
- Ability to assist in medication administration under pharmacist supervision

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Expected hours: 30 per week
