We are a fast-paced independent community pharmacy located next to a medical clinic.

We are looking for an energetic, reliable **PHARMACY ASSISTANT** to join our team. Must have great customer service skills, be able to work with or without supervision and be able to maintain a neat and tidy work environment.

Compensation will be based on experience and skill set.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:
Patient greeting and confirmation of accuracy of all pertinent prescription information prior to filling,

Data entry of patient care information into Kroll,

Third Party adjudication.

Scanning and filing prescriptions

Accurate dispensing prescription medications,

Maintenance of pharmacy stock through inventory control systems,

General OTC inquiries from patients and referral to Pharmacist where required and necessary,

Handling customer prescription pick up,

Assisting with cashier responsibilities as required in the Pharmacy.

General clerical and tidiness duties

**QUALIFICATIONS**:
Experience as a Pharmacy Assistant; AND Experience with Kroll

excellent organizational skills and detail oriented.

strong communication skills.

demonstrated customer service experience.

strong motivation to succeed.

proficient computer/data/entry skills with Kroll and Microsoft Office.

**WORK HOURS**:
Flexible schedule - Mostly day Shifts - Very Few Saturday Mornings - Sunday and Holidays Off

This will start as a regular part-time position that may extend to full-time based upon performance.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 8-38 per week

**Salary**: $17.00-$22.00 per hour

- DCS / DEC (required)

**Experience**:

- pharmacy: 1 year (required)
- Telus Kroll: 1 year (preferred)

**Language**:

- English (required)
- French (preferred)
