**About the opportunity**:
To meet the needs of our constantly evolving clientele, Best Way Stone is looking to expand our Production Team. Located at our Woodbridge location, the Technical Machine Operator will be responsible for the production of various landscape products with a high commitment to meeting quality standards.
- Days: Monday - Friday, 6:00am-3:00pm
- Afternoons: Monday - Thursday, 3:00pm-2:00am- High School Diploma or GED.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment running a production machine.
- Experience operating heavily automated production equipment.
- Ability to troubleshoot irregularities on production machinery.
- Ability to perform daily quality test procedures.
- Basic maintenance experience and a mechanical aptitude.
- Strong mathematical skills.
- Comfortable with using computers for entering data and recording information.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- An eye for detail and colour to create products that meet customer expectations.
- Basic concrete/precast knowledge is an asset.

- Ability to make quick decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- A willingness to “Get Dirty” - working in a concrete manufacturing plant.
- Some of the responsibilities for this role include:_
- Operating a highly automated production machine that produces pre-cast concrete products (i.e. paving stones, retaining walls, etc.)
- Ensure all product produced and packaged meets or exceeds company quality standards.
- Perform necessary running repairs.
- Tracking data and information on a daily basis.
- Assist in the daily clean-up of production area at end of shift.
- Maintain general cleanliness and tidiness of work area.
- Communicate daily with Production Supervisor to ensure optimum performance.
- Ensure that safety policies are followed.
- Performs other duties as needed and assigned.
