CMP Group Ltd., a leading provider of Marine Products, Construction, and Industrial solutions is seeking a Roto Molding Machine Operator** **for the PM shift **on a* full-time permanent **basis to join the** Vaughan location/team.* The Roto Molding Machine Operator reports to the Lead Hand, Plastic department.

**Responsibilities**
- Maintain ongoing production among all Roto Molding machines, material mixing machine and the Pulverizer simultaneously
- Utilize 4lb impact gun and overhead crane to open and close molds
- Report equipment/tooling conditions and operation & maintenance recommendations
- Perform/supervise set up of production equipment and operation of machinery
- Safe operation of equipment following standard operating procedures and work instructions to ensure productivity/quality of production.
- Provide routine maintenance to equipment, assist in trouble shooting and continuous improvement
- Ensure production and inventory levels are accurate and advise of any issues that may impact quality, timing or safety
- Open and complete work orders, documents production, and performs quality inspections
- Inspect tooling using applicable tools and measuring devices, maintain tools and supplies in good working order and maintain all measuring equipment, inspection fixtures and visual aids
- Troubleshoot effectively production issues pertaining to Mold Set-ups and while following lockout procedures
- Understand and operate company’s scanning wedge program
- Read and follow Standard Operating Procedures and Work Instructions
- Perform best practice during mold set up and change over and perform daily maintenance check sheet and set up sheets.
- Ensure product identification, traceability, process control, packaging instructions are adhered
- Perform quality inspections and meet standards.
- Promote safe work practices as outlined in the Ontario’s Occupational Health and Safety Act
- Adhere to all company, quality policies and procedures, safety operating procedure and equipment safety features
- Attend crew talk meetings and participate in trainings/cross train in other departments as required
- Daily housekeeping responsibilities, maintain work area in a clean state and free from obstructions
- Other duties as assigned

**Requirements**:

- 2 years of experience as a Machine Operator in a manufacturing environment
- Experience with Roto Molding considered or (Asset)
- 2 years of experience using hand or power tools (Asset)
- Comfortable lifting up to 50lbs.
- Able to run profile according to specs and costing
- Solid understanding of safety standards and best practices
- Possess basic understanding of equipment operation, packaging and press machines
- Good communication, interpersonal skills and Basic math skills
- Eagar to work, reliable, dependable, team player, safety mindset and prioritizing to meet deadlines and can work efficiently under pressure
- Safety boots

**Hours**
- Monday-Friday: Afternoon shift - 3:30 pm to 12:00 am

**Salary**: $21.00 per hour
