Saskatoon, Canada Axis Vac and HDD Services Ltd. Full time

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Be able to multi
- task and be able to work as a team member to ensure jobs are completed properly and safely.
- Ensure the implementation of Axis Vac and HDD Safety Management System (Energy Safety Canada
- COR)
- Implement, coach, inform and enforce safety policies / procedures through regular site visits, safety meetings and 2 way communication
- Assess compliance with the applicable safety codes, procedures, relevant documentation, and commitments.
- Perform site inspections, audits and assist with investigations.
- Successfully contribute to ensuring regular site inspections, coaching, and development of a valued safety culture.
- Ensure all employees and site workers have required certifications.
- Ensure compliance and updates of safety policy are done on a quarterly basis.
- Office duties will include ability to call in locates (One
- Call), permits, maintain statistics, read maps and as
- builts, and other office or project administrative duties as required.

**Qualifications**:

- National Construction Safety Officer (NCSO), Occupational Health & Safety Certificate, Health and Safety Administrator (HSA) other industry recognized training, or a combination of education and relevant experience.
- Valid Class 5 License with a clean abstract
- Understanding of Occupational Health & Safety Acts, Regulations and Codes and how it pertains to Axis Vac job sites
- Working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) and ability to use other programs competently.
- Self starter, ability to work unsupervised, but still complete all tasks.
- Fiber optics and telecommunications experience is an asset, but not required.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $60,000.00-$80,000.00 per year

- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay
