**Key Responsibilities**:
Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons in visual arts that align with Ontario Curriculum Guidelines and Growing Success lesson plans, assessment and evaluation plans and methodologies.

Encourage students to explore their creativity and develop their artistic skills in a supportive environment.

Prepare teaching materials and incorporate a variety of artistic techniques and mediums into lessons.

Assess and evaluate student work, providing constructive feedback to promote growth.

Foster an inclusive and inspiring classroom environment that celebrates creativity and self-expression.

**Qualifications**:
A Bachelor’s degree or higher in Visual Arts or a related field

An Education degree

Teaching Certification, Ontario College of Teachers

Experience teaching visual arts preferably in a school setting.

Proficiency in various artistic techniques, including painting, drawing, sculpture, or digital art.

Strong communication and classroom management skills.

Passion for inspiring students and fostering a love for the arts.

**How to Apply**:
**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $35.00-$55.00 per hour

Expected hours: 5 - 10 per week

Flexible language requirement:

- French not required

- Bachelor's Degree (preferred)
