**Property Manager Job Description**
The job incumbent will be responsible for two roles:
1) Effectively providing lease out tenant placement services for landlords.
2) Performing ongoing management for rental properties.
1) Lease Out Services:
a. Meet potential new landlords to discuss services and management agreements
b. Advertise rental properties
c. Respond to tenant inquires and show properties (car is necessary)
d. Conduct background checks
e. Complete leasing Documents
f. Carry out condition inspections and move out/in process
2) Ongoing Management:
a. Collect rents
b. Respond to tenant issues, complaints, repairs, emergencies
c. Coordinate repairs with trades
d. Prudent physical inspections of properties on an ongoing bases
e. Deal with tenant disputes through arbitration as necessary
h. Communicate with landlords
Pay: Commission based. Earnings can range from $50,000 to over $100,000
The job incumbent is a property manager that is supervised by Axford Real Estate. Job duties will be done at a combination of at the Axford Real Estate Office and on appointments (landlord/tenant/repair).
Education and Experience: Licensed Rental Property Manager with BCREA license. Experience working in an office environment is desirable and experience in real estate preferably as a rental manager.
Knowledge and Abilities: Knowledge of the Residential Tenancy Act along with office procedures and practice; knowledge of computers; and the ability to communicate effectively and professionally.
