Family Medicine Receptionist/administrative Assistant

We are dedicated to delivering compassionate, patient-centered care for individuals and families across all ages. Our team is growing, and we are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented **Administrative Assistant** to support our providers and clinical staff in delivering outstanding primary care services.
**Position Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Greet and check in patients; verify health card and demographic information
- Answer phones, respond to messages, and direct inquiries appropriately
- Schedule appointments, manage calendars, and send appointment reminders
- Prepare and manage patient records in the electronic medical record (EMR) system
- Assist providers with administrative tasks including referrals and documentation
- Coordinate with pharmacies, specialists, and labs as needed
- Maintain patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations
**Qualifications**:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; administrative assistant degree/diploma preferred
- Minimum 2-5 years administrative or medical office experience preferred
- Familiarity with medical terminology and EMR systems (e.g., Accuro)
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong attention to detail, time management, and problem-solving abilities

Contract length: 12 months
Pay: $18.00-$23.00 per hour
