We are seeking a skilled **Automotive Technician** to support customers across engineering, retrofit, marketing/PR teams, and the corporate vehicle fleet. This role involves hands-on vehicle repair, instrumentation and testing of development vehicles, and providing mechanical leadership for new and emerging automotive innovations.

**Responsibilities**:

- Service internal customers across cross-functional departments including engineering, retrofit, and corporate fleet
- Perform vehicle repairs and maintenance with precision and efficiency
- Instrument and test development vehicles for data acquisition and validation
- Collaborate on new product and technology innovations, providing mechanical and diagnostic support
- Ensure vehicles are consistently in top operational condition for testing or presentation
- Maintain a high level of customer service with internal stakeholders

**Required Qualifications**:

- Proficient in Global Connect or similar dealership management or diagnostic systems
- Capable of multitasking in a dynamic environment, working independently and as part of a team
- Able to recognize and escalate unique or critical technical issues
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Skilled in using diagnostic tools such as MDI or equivalent technician tools
- Strong mechanical and troubleshooting abilities with experience using electronic diagnostic equipment
- Ability to learn new technologies, service procedures, and technical specifications quickly
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Positive and professional demeanor with a commitment to continuous improvement
- Ability to thrive in a cross-functional and collaborative team environment
- Experience with vehicle instrumentation and sensor technologies

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Working knowledge of tools such as Intrepid Vehicle Spy or similar vehicle network analysis software
- Experience working with electric vehicles and understanding EV systems
- Demonstrated ability to support mechanical and electrical innovations
- Previous experience working with a vehicle manufacturer or automotive R&D department
- Minimum of 8 years of experience; must be independent, professional, and able to hit the ground running
- Experience diagnosing electric vehicles is a strong advantage, particularly with EV systems diagnostics
- Must hold at least a 310S license (or equivalent); a valid G Class driver’s license is also required
- Natural Gas and Propane Vehicle Certification preferred
- Wrecker license and Class D (or higher) driver’s license required

**Job Type**: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:
