We invite skilled, dedicated, innovative, and motivated professionals to join our team."Role SummaryOur client, a leader in the Automotive Manufacturing sector, seeks an experienced licensed Automotive Technician to provide maintenance service to customers across engineering, retrofit, marketing teams, and the Canada fleet. The Technician will diagnose and repair vehicle sub-systems, perform instrumentation and testing of development vehicles, and provide mechanical leadership to drive new innovations.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct vehicle diagnostics and troubleshooting to identify and resolve system issues efficientlyPerform instrumentation and testing on development vehicles to support engineering evaluations and innovationExecute automotive repairs and maintenance, ensuring compliance with industry standards and company processes/specificationsMaintain accurate documentation and reports of diagnostic findings, repairs, and testing resultsAdapt to new technologies, repair procedures, and service specifications to stay ahead of industry advancementsDemonstrate excellent customer service skills, providing professional and effective communication with clients and teamsEnsure safety compliance with all regulatory guidelines related to vehicle maintenance, diagnostics, and operational proceduresApply mechanical and troubleshooting expertise for innovative projects, assisting in the development of new technologiesRequirementsRequired Skills and Experiences:Minimum of 8 years of Automotive Technician experienceExceptional ability in vehicle systems diagnostics and troubleshootingMust be independent, professional, and able to hit the ground runningProficient in GM Global Connect or similar platforms for vehicle diagnostics, repairs, and managementProficient with MDI (Multiple Diagnostic Interface) GM technician toolMechanical and troubleshooting skills and ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipmentExperience with vehicle instrumentation and sensorsAbility to multi-task in a busy environment and work independently or with other team membersAbility to identify unique situations and escalate accordinglyValid driver\'s license with clean driving recordAbility to learn new technology, repair and service procedures and specificationsExcellent customer service skills and basic computer competenciesPositive, friendly attitude, with an eagerness to improveAbility and willingness to work in a cross-functional environmentTeammate with ability to collaborate with others effectivelyPreferred qualifications:Basic Knowledge of Intrepid Vehicle Spy tool and softwareDemonstrated capabilities with electric vehiclesDemonstrated ability to provide mechanical and electrical solutions to new innovationsPrevious General Motors vehicle experienceEducation and TrainingLicensed Automotive Technician. Must hold at least a 310S license (or equivalent); a valid G Class driver\'s license is also required. Natural Gas and Propane Vehicle Certification preferred.
