**Locations**: Brentwood Care Centre

**Positions Available**: Casual Positions Available

**Hours**: Rotating shifts from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm and 1 pm to 9 pm - flexibility is required

**Salary**: $18.52/hour and $23.96/hour depending on experience

**Role Responsibilities**:

- Assists in scheduling, preparing and implementing therapeutic programs which support Intercare’s philosophy of meeting the holistic needs of the customers, as directed
- Maintain appropriate records of planned programs and attendance
- Documents care, programs and interactions as required on the resident’s health care record
- Participate in outings and other special events
- Demonstrate respect to all customers, by working with them in a calm, courteous manner

**Qualifications/Skills/Job Requirements**:

- A minimum of two years of experience in a Continuing Care setting is required.
- Preference is given to applicants with work experience related to cognitively impaired persons.
- Preference is given to applicants with training in programs related to rehabilitation, recreation, or nursing for healthcare workers.
- Ability to read, write and comprehend the English language
- Mentally and physically able to perform duties as outlined
