**Job Overview**
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food Service Counter Attendant to join our team. In this role, you will be the face of our establishment, providing exceptional customer service while assisting with food preparation and ensuring a clean and welcoming environment for our guests. Your ability to manage time effectively and handle cash transactions will be crucial in delivering a seamless dining experience.

**Duties**
- Greet customers warmly and take their orders accurately, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Prepare food items according to established recipes and standards, maintaining high-quality presentation.
- Operate the POS system, including Micros POS, for processing transactions efficiently.
- Handle cash and credit card payments, ensuring accuracy in cash handling and basic math calculations.
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of the service area, kitchen, and dining spaces in compliance with food safety regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service by answering questions about menu items, making recommendations, and upselling additional products.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery to customers.
- Adhere to all food handling guidelines and sanitation practices to ensure a safe dining environment.

**Experience**
- Previous experience in the food service industry is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with food preparation techniques and kitchen operations is a plus.
- Experience with cashiering and operating POS systems is advantageous.
- Strong time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.10-$21.10 per hour
