We brew craft beer and manufacture beverages Lake of the Woods Brewing Company is committed to sustainable practices, business growth and development, and building external and internal alliances to support local, fresh, and handcrafted goods and services. We are young and we are growing Lake of the Woods Brewing Company HQ is in a repurposed, historic fire hall in downtown Kenora with a Taproom & Eatery, Retail Store, Online Shop, and Commercial Sales - plus we have two other brewing locations (Winnipeg MB and Warroad MN) and soon to be a third
**What this Job Entails**:
**Territory **Geography**:Sudbury, North Bay, SSM & Timmins - **Reports to **Director of Sales**
Required to work up to 44 hours per week, pending on business volumes and seasonal sales levels. This role will work remotely for Lake of the Woods Brewing Company and will be responsible for duties including but not limited to:
- Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with key retailers and licensees to gain sales and distribution across all your geographic region:
- LCBO & LCBO Convenience Outlets (LCO)
- Grocery stores (GMS)
- The Beer Stores (TBS) within the territory
- Restaurants/bars, golf courses, ski hills, private events, festivals, etc.
- Execute and develop a promotional calendar geared towards growing sales and distribution
- Collect, manage and maintain good standing of your territory Accounts Receivables (AR).
- Maintain a weekly planner of goals and account calls (effectively manage a route plan)
- Accurately collect and manage sales orders (use of Dig this Data)
- Work closely with distribution partner & manage delivery schedules (TNG)
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related goals and tasks as needed
- Find, execute and attend unique community beer festivals/events
- Support the company mission and mandate
- Work with other Sales Reps/Territory Managers to plan and develop goals and strive to reach and surpass business targets
- Manage inventory of product and identify shipping needs and product shortages
- Other duties and projects as assigned
**Local Sales Lead Skills and Qualifications**:
- Minimum two (2) years of experience in sales
- Experience working in the food & beverages industry (not required but preferred)
- Customer service oriented with exceptional communication skills
- Microsoft Office and general computer literacy
- Smart Serve Certified
- Beer knowledge and market knowledge (preferred but not required)
- Results driven and able to execute regional strategy
- Valid driver’s license in good standing with no limitations/restrictions
- Start date to be immediate
