Donut Monster is a specialty donut producer that supplies fresh, from-scratch donuts in Hamilton and beyond. Our flagship retail location at 246 Locke Street South is looking for first class bakers that have a desire to produce excellent quality items who also want to grow with the company.

Donut Monster wants you, if you are a dedicated team player that will cherish the wee hours of the morning and thrive in a fast paced environment to produce our one of a kind from scratch donuts

**This position is for Full time & Part time. **_**We will contact those who are qualified.**_ **We are looking for a skilled person for our MIXING position Must be a responsible person that will be key component in carrying out the day.**

**Responsibilities**:

- Scale, mix, and process dough and batter from scratch with high attention to detail
- Roll, cut, and shape donuts consistently
- Fry donuts with accuracy and precision
- Follow existing recipes for dough, batters, glazes and garnishes with accuracy, and adjust as needed to take advantage of seasonal ingredients.
- Keep a clean, tidy and organized work space Adhere to quality and cleanliness standards and Report to Bakery Manager and Shift Lead Bakers*

Qualifications:*
- Passionate about from-scratch baking (we don’t do shortcuts).
- Experience in mixing, window test - gluten development, DDT.
- Not a climate controlled environment - so having experience in dough manipulation is a must.
- Experienced in working with yeast raised goods in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail oriented.
- Dependable and reliable with a strong work ethic.
- Have a positive attitude and work well with a team.
- Excited about working for, and growing with, a small Hamilton business.
- Food Handler’s Certificate is an asset.
- Able to lift 50 pounds
