**Position Summary**:
The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for a wide range of tasks, including performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting issues, and executing apartment turnovers and renovations. This role requires a hands-on individual who can work efficiently both independently and as part of a team to maintain our high standards of property care.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Property Maintenance & Repair**: Perform routine and preventative maintenance tasks to ensure all properties are in excellent condition. This includes troubleshooting and repairing issues related to plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.
- **Renovations & Turnovers**: Execute and assist with full apartment renovations and unit turnovers, including but not limited to:

- **Painting & Finishing**: Surface preparation, painting, mudding, and finishing work.
- **Carpentry**: Minor repairs, framing, and general woodwork.
- **Flooring**: Installation and repair of various flooring types.
- **Bathroom Renovations**: Installation of tub surrounds and other bathroom fixtures.
- **Trim & Baseboards**: Installation and finishing.
- **Safety & Compliance**: Adhere to all safety standards and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
- **Team Collaboration**: Work effectively with the Maintenance Supervisor and other team members to complete projects on time and to a high standard.

**Qualifications**:

- **Prior Experience Required**: A minimum of 1-3 years of hands-on experience in property maintenance, construction, or a related field.
- **Technical Skills**: Proven proficiency in a range of skills, including painting, basic carpentry, plumbing, and electrical work.
- **Work Ethic**: Strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality.
- **Physical Aptitude**: Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- **Problem-solving**: A strong problem-solving aptitude and a keen attention to detail.
- **Communication**: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- **Transportation**: Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- **Teamwork**: Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
