Reporting to the Director of bids, the **Bid Operations Specialist** is responsible for processing client requests and management of data related to proposal development and close out.
In this capacity, the Bid Operation Specialist is responsible for monitoring and management of Candu Services mailbox and other client’s RFQ platforms, and to process all client requests related to the opportunities and/or purchase orders according to the proposal development lifecycle, setting up opportunity assessment meetings, creating SharePoint folders, proposal number, charge codes, and updating data management system.
This is a highly time sensitive and networked role that requires an ability to work under restricted deadlines.
This role will be based in **Mississauga, ON.**
**Your role within the team**
- Manage and Process Client tender requests and related data.
- Process purchase orders and proposal closeout activities.
- Responsible for extracting several weekly, monthly, quarterly reports from data base and distribution to appropriate stakeholders.
- Responsible for providing necessary access to corporate/proposal tools (Share point site, BWS - Dynamics 365, PFS, etc.) for individuals new to bid team.
- Responsible for proposal charge codes activities, including charge code creation, budget update, closeout.
- Assist with customer feedback activities and reports.
- Maintain several proposal related logs.
- Assist setting up necessary meetings to process client request and proposal development.
- Create and maintain the proposals database with accurate and timely updates.
- Adheres to all Corporate Policies and Procedures, Recommend, manage, and implement improvements of corporate/proposal tools and resources.
- Coordinate/Support bid operation and other process improvement initiatives, as identified.
