**Farm Maintenance Worker**

Eagle Lake Nurseries Ltd. is an established company that is a leader in the Prairie nursery industry for over 50 years. We are a full-service wholesale supplier of nursery stock to the landscape, construction, and garden centre markets. We produce on over 1000 acres of land, growing large trees, container trees and shrubs and perennials.

We are looking for an individual that wants be part of a team in a highly diverse agriculture company, with a proven success record, that plans to continue to grow, by executing innovative and future thinking initiatives.

**Requirements**:

- Mechanical experience relating to farm machinery repairs/parts replacements and maintenance (tractors, skid-steers, implements, etc.)
- Ability to operate farm equipment.
- A basic knowledge of irrigation and repair.
- Basic welding and fabrication skills.
- Able to read blueprints and schematics.
- Physical fitness and stamina to perform outdoor tasks in various weather conditions.
- Self motivated with the ability to work independently and efficiently with mínimal supervision.
- Class 5 licence and reliable transportation.
- Class 3 licence.
- Punctual, reliable and professional.
- Excellent communication skills, computer skills (MS suite).

**Responsibilities**:

- Perform work safely in accordance with all farm safety policies and procedures.
- Maintain an efficient and clean workshop environment.
- Troubleshoot and inspect equipment issues efficiently.
- Upkeep of farm equipment, vehicles, buildings and irrigation.
- General greenhouse repair and maintenance.
- Maintain accurate work orders.
- Prioritize and focus on scheduled maintenance routines.

Wages offered are based on level of experience and value you can bring to the team.

Pay: $27.00 - $30.00 per hour.

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8am - 5pm.

Pay: $27.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 42.5 per week

Schedule:
