**Maintenance Lead**

Being on the Aspens Crossing’s maintenance team is a unique, challenging and fulfilling position like no other. You would be leading a team that is responsible for supporting the efficient operation of a premier RV resort, two fantastic retail stores, two amazing restaurants, managing a fleet of vehicles/equipment and supporting a private train and rail line. You are driven to evolve a prairie destination to meet the dynamic demands of our guests. You believe that planning and communication are your best tools and are rewarded by supporting your team through times of success and perseverance. Aspen Crossing has been in business now for 20 years.

**Skills**(possess some but not all): Basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, ability to work on small engines and farm equipment, computer literacy, time management

**Roles and Responsibilities**:

- Forecast labour requirements
- Delegate daily task to team members
- Ensure resources are in place to safely and effectively execute tasks
- Track labour hours and budget
- Support shop cleanliness and organization
- Develop and maintain a preventative maintenance program for vehicles and equipment
- Support business units for their maintenance requirements
- Ensure staff are properly trained on equipment and tools
- Promote an engaging working environment for all team members
- Demonstrate a passion for ensuring equipment and vehicles and buildings are in good working order
- Demonstrate a passion for understanding how things work mechanically
- Demonstrate a positive outlook even during escalations
- Hands on when required
- Set up and tear down for events
- Other duties and assignments as needed and delegate by leadership

**Starting wage** is $30/hour with a potential increase after completing 90 days probation

Pay: $30.00-$38.95 per hour
