The Financial Business Analyst role manages all aspects of forecasting, budgeting and analysis with the objective of supporting internal business teams in the success achievement of results.

As our Financial Business Analyst, you will:

- Provide valuable support to business unit leaders by preparing accurate and timely forecasts, monitoring results versus budget/ forecast, and investigating variances while identifying risks and opportunities.
- Produce insightful, meaningful, and actionable commentary and reporting that focus on key business drivers and assist business leaders in better decision making.
- Partner with internal teams to enable the analysis of sales pipeline, resource allocation and utilization, and overall business unit profitability.
- Serve as advisor to business unit leaders on all financial matters.
- Assist with administration of financial planning and analysis system, and serve as finance support for corporate business intelligence system
- Build and improve on financial models to assist with regular and ad hoc analysis and reporting
- Participate in month-end close activities: identify accruals, investigate variances, reconcile accounts, and prepare journal entries
- Support the development of reporting and analysis, including customized reporting for the client and practice teams, ROI analysis and financial model.

As our Financial Business Analyst, you have:

- 3-5 years experience within a Finance department, and 2+ years in a financial planning and analysis role.
- CPA and bachelor’s degree in a financial discipline required.
- Ability to analyze data to drive business decisions.
- Advanced Excel skills, eg. Mass data manipulations, pivot tables & reporting, advanced conditional formatting, formulas, Macros, data simulations and modeling.
- Experience with financial ERP and FP&A systems, enjoys finding ways to improve efficiencies with an automation mindset.
- Entrepreneurial team player with a winning/find-a-way attitude
- Self-reliant, problem solver, results oriented
- Exceptional internal and external written, oral, interpersonal, and presentation skills
- Ability to prioritize multiple assignments to achieve required deadlines
- Working knowledge of NetSuite, and PowerBI is an asset
