**Responsibilities**:
As a **Regional Project Quotations Specialist** based in **Northern Ontario** you will:
- Have responsibility to prepare and complete project quotations for our clients in Northern Ontario (Sault, Ste Marie, Sudbury, Timmins, Kirkland Lake, North Bay, Orillia, Bracebridge and Barrie).
- Quote all new jobs that are out for tender and determine if specifications are achievable and within scope.
- Obtain requests for quotes from electrical contractors, end users and sales representatives and coordinate the layout of the specifications. This will include electrical take-offs from single line diagrams as well as putting lighting and distribution packages together.
- This may also include submitting packages through a customer portal or online submittal tool. Communication, RFI’s and responses may need to be funneled through that tool efficiently and effectively.
- Investigate manufacturer coverage and negotiate with a variety of suppliers to obtain pricing terms and delivery schedules.
- Ensure that delivery deadlines are observed and received according to the terms of the contract.
- Act as a liaison with our vendors, agents, contractors and internal staff.
- Negotiate with key suppliers to obtain project pricing.
**Skills & Qualifications**:
Applicants for this position should have the following qualifications:
- 2 - 3 years of project quotations / project coordination or related experience.
- Grade 12 education (or equivalent.)
- Product knowledge of the electrical business is essential.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
