Analyst - Pricing Processes and Programs (Nova

CKF Inc. has five manufacturing facilities located across Canada with a total workforce in excess of 700 employees. Our operations produce foam, plastic and molded pulp products including disposable tableware, egg cartons, four-cup carriers, display containers, and a wide variety of other products for the food service industry.

We have an opportunity available at our Hantsport, NS location for an Analyst - Pricing Processes and Programs, reporting to the Manager of Pricing Process and Programs.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Maintenance and review of all prices and programs for all customers (domestic & international) for all product lines produced at our 5 production facilities
- Review and analyze all incoming price requests for accuracy, completeness, market impact and contribution margin (modify and enter requests as needed)
- Daily communication (verbal, written and/or teams) with company executives (Pricing Committee) and multiple internal departments
- Maintain master files for all contract files and historical price data
- Review customer contract and supply agreements as part of contract team
- Work with external accounting firm to review tax implications of international sales opportunities
- Assist with Trade spend audits, and investigation of invalid customer deductions
- Update pricing in an ERP system ; generate & distribute PDF pricing files
- Liaise with internal departments - Customer Care, Sales, Accounts Receivable, Cost Accounting, Logistics/Supply Chain, Finance, Plant Managers, Trade Spend and occasionally external customers
- Ad hoc contribution margin reporting and analysis (numerical and related data analysis)
- Maintain an expert level knowledge of all pricing and programs, customer contracts, market price levels, impact of any related changes on existing business
- Strategic projects and analysis, as required within the pricing team and with other departmental teams

**Qualifications**:

- Post secondary education - Business/Accounting or Finance
- Have an understanding of sales, logistics, supply chain, and manufacturing environment is an asset
- Must have the ability to work independently and as part of multiple teams
- Must have excellent verbal & written communication skills
- Advanced level Excel skills (v-look up, pivot tables), previous experience with an ERP system is an asset
- Highly efficient and organized, with an exceptional memory
- Must be extremely detailed and have excellent analytical skills
- Advanced level problem-solving skills
