**JOB SUMMARY**

**Trailhead Kingston is a locally owned business specializing in outdoor clothing, footwear and gear for men and women. We are looking for an experienced retail manager with a passion for the outdoors to oversee the daily operations of our store.**

**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Train, manage, and regularly evaluate staff performance;
- Manage all store operations and delegate responsibilities;
- Supervise employees, providing coaching and mentorship to optimize productivity and increase sales;
- Address customer complaints/feedback in a professional manner;
- Plan and execute specials and promos;
- Uphold compliance with all legal, health, and safety guidelines;
- Protect against loss by monitoring security, training staff and maintaining security cameras.

**QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS**
- 4+ years of retail management experience;
- Computer database and software skills;
- Proven history of successfully training employees in a variety of departments;
- Strong understanding of sales and customer service techniques.

**COMPENSATION**

This role is fulltime throughout the year including weekdays, weekends and holidays. The salary is $45,000 - $55,000 depending on experience with a bonus program linked to overall store performance. Benefits and RRSP contributions are also included.

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)
