Our head office being located in Boucherville, on the South Shore of Montreal, we know that some of our employees are concerned by the roadwork being carried out in the Louis-Hippolyte-La Fontaine tunnel. The Analyst will be an integral part of the Online Category Experience team. The incumbent will analyze on-site search terms and identify optimizations for search results to improve the online customer experience. This work will result in improved customer and associate satisfaction, increased traffic and sales, and better conversion.

**Your role**:

- Analyze key web analytics data, customer feedback, and competitive benchmarks to provide insights and recommendations on areas for improvements for on-site search per category that will yield the highest impact
- Improve on-site search results by utilizing Adobe Analytics and Google Analytics for Lowe’s, RONA, and Réno-Dépôt and recommend improvements to increase conversion and reduce exit rate
- Conduct category weekly analysis, category-specific projects, and search blitz to improve search conversion, address null, and top search terms
- Own on-site search-related tasks such as key wording, search indexing, synonym mapping, boosting items, adding filters, and redirect implementations
- Work with product, online merchandising, marketing, and other teams to act as the expert on on-site search best practices
- Adjust algorithm rules and provide guidance and recommendations on optimizing internal search engine
- Provide insights and recommendations to build and influence the online category experience improvement roadmap and help in the definition of short-term department strategies
- Conduct post analysis and create recommendations to adjust future optimizations

**The qualifications we are looking for**:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or related field
- Excellent analytical skills and proven capability to generate actionable insights
- At least 5 years of experience working with web analytics tools (Adobe Analytics considered an asset)
- Strong knowledge of search eCommerce best practices and insights
- Strong interpersonal, motivational, and communicational skills (speaking, writing, presenting)
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects (prioritization, planning, task delegation)
- Flexibility and ability to perform in a fast paced, changing environment
- Project management skills (experience in JIRA considered an asset)
