We are looking for a motivated Finance Manager that will help propel growth of our young company. Ideal person will have 10 years or more of corporate financial experience that has been there, done that, who wants to have a direct impact on building a foundation and take on the challenge of working at a start-up. We are growing and we hope to grow with you.**Responsibilities**:_
- Develop and implement financial strategy and provide strategic recommendations to the leadership team
- Development monitoring and reporting of the annual operating budget, capital budget and funding plan
- Analyze actuals against budget/ forecast and prior periods
- Manage operational cash flow needs and cash management through planning and cash projections
- Establish review and maintain a system of financial procedures, methods, controls, and records, ensuring full remittance and compliance with governmental requirements
- Oversee and direct all financial processes, including AP, AR, month-end reconciliations, monthly financial statements, variance and performance analysis, forecasting, purchasing
- Work with stakeholders to make informed purchasing and procurement.
- **Qualifications**:_
- At least 10 years of experience in a senior role responsible for financial strategy and overseeing and delivering the full range of financial and accounting practices including but not limited to budgeting, forecasting, reporting, financial analysis, cash flow management, AP/AR.
- Professional designation is an asset
- Experience with Government grants and funding
- Strong quantitative and analytical competency
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Proficient with MS office and Quickbook
- Strong project management skills
- Japanese Required

**Salary**: From $60,000.00 to $80,000 per year(Canadian Doller)

Schedule: 8: 00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., from M-F (Overtime work may be required for this positions)
