Evening Canine Attendant

We are looking for a hard-working individual who loves a fast-paced environment and isn't afraid to get dirty. This job is physically demanding and requires the ability to bend, lift, stretch and reach.
Responsibilities include:
- Structured handling of the dogs during transitions (ex. bringing to owner during pick up time frame)
- Daily cleaning duties, such as disposal of dog excrement and deep cleaning the facility
- Preparation of meals for overnight pups
- Ensuring safety of the dogs during bathroom breaks
- Is a fun, dynamic and hard working team player
- Must have own transportation
- Able to maintain a calm and positive attitude
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30lbs
- Able to work quickly and accurately under pressure or tight deadlines
- Dependable, punctual and trustworthy
Part time with expansion to full time once training is completed (there is a three month probationary period). **Wage increase based on performance. **No experience necessary, we are willing to train people who are dependable and willing to learn. If you have always wanted to work with animals this is a good job for you
**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $17.50 per hour
Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week
Schedule:
- Holidays
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
