**Job Title**:Sample Sorting Technician - Night Shift

**About The Role**

**Education Requirements**: Highschool

**Other Requirements**:

- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Motivated, quality driven, pro-active and ability to multi-task
- Possess strong verbal and written communication skills in English
- Proficient Computer Skills
- Exhibit common sense
- Good interpersonal skills
- Ability to work as a team member and work well unsupervised
- Ability to handle several tasks at once
- Willingness to display needed effort to meet company goals of improved TAT and quality
- Willingness to work overtime if required to complete projects

**Responsibilities**: May include some or all of the following:

- Receive and inspect incoming shipments for damage
- Verify all incoming client samples against the Request for Analysis and advise client of any discrepancies
- Read the Request for Analysis Form to identify presence of any hazardous material and put in special instructions
- Document any additional information pertaining to the order, under “special instructions” on the support site
- Confirm that the order was set up correctly based on the Request for Analysis Form including the sample ID’s by cross checking the client’s paper work vs. actual sample vs. Support Site
- Send samples to sample preparation department once they are logged in
- If no sample preparation is needed, label and deliver to weigh department
- Handle sample delivery of prepped samples according to the quality operation procedure
- Assist in ensuring turn around time meets clients and Presidents requirements by working overtime when required
- Maintain a clean work station throughout the day and clean for following shift
- Perform general laboratory housekeeping
- Compliance with all safety procedures including MSDS review
- Any other tasks as determined by lab manager/process-owner join us and become part of a dynamic and professional team where your skills and contributions are valued and rewarded.

**Hours**:Monday to Friday 11pm-7am

**Wage Premium**:$1.50 Hourly Night Shift Premium (over Hourly Wage)

Pay: $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
