**Position Description**:

- We are looking for an Intake Coordinator to join Tele Mental Health Service as part of Telepsychiatry at Sickkids. As a Telepsychiatry Intake Coordinator, you will triage, respond, and coordinate referrals, scheduling appointments on a variety of technology platforms to connect consultants with children and youth with mental health assessments. The role also includes connecting and relationship building with Children's Mental Health Agencies, Community Health Centres, Family Health Teams, and other medical specialists across the province and ensuring that appropriate clinical information is collected. As the Intake Coordinator, you will act as a professional, sensitive, and responsible liaison available and responsive to all referral sources, to the community, and to the patients and parents referred to the program.**This is a hybrid position, on-site coverage may be required up to three days per week, and monthly on-site team meetings.**

**Here's What You Will Get To Do**
- Receive and assess the appropriateness of requests for service using criteria provided by the Program, and in consultation with members of the clinical team
Secure and organize necessary documentation and legal documents
Help manage program schedules
Triage accepted referrals to appropriate clinicians within the program
Promote the program to clinicians within the city of Toronto
Data entry and management of the department and hospital mandated clinical systems
Handle small projects/assignments as requested
- **Here's What You Will Need**
- Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, Social Work, or Sociology; or a related discipline or a Diploma in related discipline
Minimum 2 years' experience providing administrative support; preferably in a healthcare setting- Minimum 2 years' experience in a community mental health, social services, agency, or hospital environment, preferred
Should have familiarity with psychiatric/medical terminology
Proficient in Epic (an Asset)
Proficient in Microsoft Office (i.e. Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
Self-directed, organized, and able to work with little supervision
Tactful, diplomatic, and interpersonal skills
French language skills - written and verbal, a strong asset**Employment Type: Temporary, Full time 1.0 FTE, 13-month contract with health and dental benefits**
