Synoptic Medical is a fast growing medical and non medical expert assessment company where we provide independent medical examinations and independent non medical opinions across a variety of matters. Our two primary offices are in Vancouver, BC and Toronto, ON with offices opening in Calgary, Alberta and Halifax, Nova Scotia. Our clients, experts and team cover all of Canada.

We work with law firms, insurers, disability carriers, employers and unions on matching the appropriate expert(s) to their matter where they require expert opinions or medical opinions. We work with doctors, allied health providers and their teams to provide administrative support for handling their referrals.

**The Role**:
We are looking for TWO full time Intake Coordinators to support our growth. One for our Vancouver office to manage referrals for our western provinces and one for our Toronto office to manage our eastern referrals.

The Intake Coordinators are responsible for receiving referrals directly from our referrals sources, collecting and inputting all required information to our file management system, identifying and recommending the appropriate expert for each referral; coordinating assessment dates with the expert(s) office; communicating and confirming assessment dates, times and locations; calling examinees to confirm assessments and attendance; and, facilitating any other requirements.

The role involves strong written and oral communication skills, the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast moving environment where referrals are time sensitive, high level of organizational skills and a very keen attention to detail.

**Education, Experience and Skills**:
1-3 years experience as an Intake Coordinator in a similar role/industry is required

College and/or University degree in law, insurance, or medical is preferred

Professional and strong communication skills, both written and oral, is a must.

Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook is required.

Ability to learn and adapt to new computer software and programs.

Legal and Medical Terminology including an understanding of different medical disciplines is preferred

Very strong organizational, problem solving, and decision making skills are required.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills are required.

Team player mentality.

**Salary**: From $50,000.00 per year
