**Job Overview**: An Automotive Detailer is responsible for cleaning, refurbishing, and maintaining the interior and exterior of vehicles to ensure they are in pristine condition. This role requires attention to detail, a passion for vehicle care, and the ability to perform both exterior and interior cleaning tasks to meet high standards.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Exterior Detailing**: Wash and wax vehicles, clean and polish paintwork, remove contaminants from surfaces, and ensure tires and wheels are thoroughly cleaned and dressed.
- **Interior Detailing**: Vacuum carpets and upholstery, clean and sanitize seats, mats, and other interior surfaces, and ensure all windows are streak-free.
- **Engine Bay Cleaning**: Clean the engine bay using appropriate methods to ensure it looks presentable.
- **Stain Removal**: Use specialized products to remove stains from carpets, upholstery, and other interior surfaces.
- **Attention to Detail**: Inspect each vehicle for imperfections and identify areas needing extra care, ensuring no areas are missed.
- **Quality Control**: Maintain a high level of quality and consistency in all cleaning tasks and ensure customer satisfaction.
- **Maintenance of Tools and Equipment**: Properly maintain and clean detailing tools and equipment after each use.
- **Customer Interaction**: Communicate effectively with customers to ensure their specific needs are met and address any concerns or feedback.

**Requirements**:

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as an automotive detailer or in a similar role (preferred).
- Knowledge of automotive cleaning products, tools, and techniques.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and a passion for working with vehicles.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy items, and work in varying weather conditions.
- A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record may be required.

**Work Environment**:

- The role typically involves working indoors and outdoors, in both clean and sometimes dusty or dirty environments.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: From $17.20 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 44 per week

Additional pay:

- Overtime pay

Schedule:

- 4 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

Licence/Certification:

- G Driving Licence (required)

Work Location: In person
