**Fix Auto is looking for an Auto Body Technician** **If you are a detail-oriented and are looking to grow your expertise in the collision repair industry, then this could be your ticket to a great career. As an **Auto Body Techinician,** you will use your skills to restore damaged vehicles to their original structural integrity, function, and appearance.

**A day in the Life of an Auto Body Technician at Fix Auto**
- Repair and replace front end components, body components, doors and frame and underbody components as per manufacturer’s specifications.
- Hammer out dents, buckles and other defects using blocks and hammers.
- Operate soldering equipment or use plastic filler to fill holes, dents and seams.
- Remove damaged fenders, panels and grills using wrenches and cutting torch and bolt or weld replacement parts into place.
- Straighten bent frames using frame and underbody pulling and anchoring equipment.
- Repair and replace glass components such as windshields, windows and sunroofs.
- Repair or replace interior components, such as seat frame assembly, carpets and floorboard insulation.
- Test repaired equipment for proper performance and ensure the achievement of quality standards in restoration and repair, in order to reduce and eliminate rework and warranty claims.
- Repair and restore damaged vehicles and thoroughly inspecting the vehicle and planning the repair process.
- Follow the company standard operating procedures.
- Uphold the quality and standards of the services of the organization.
- Complete all tasks assigned by the supervising manager.
- Timely completion of all tasks as per the specified deadline.
- Use equipment properly and in a way that promotes safety for yourself and others.

**Requirements**:

- **Licensed Auto Body Technician (310B)**:

- **Valid Ontario G Class Drivers license
- Able to problem solve
- Effective time management
- Works as a member of the team Ownership and pride in his/her work
- Job Types: Full-time, Permanent**
