We seek excellent students, faculty, and staff to join us in what has become known as the "Western Experience" - an opportunity to contribute to a better world through the development of new knowledge, new abilities, new connections, and new ways to make a difference. **About Us**: The Office of the Registrar supports students’ academic pursuits, as well as Western’s strategic goals by delivering an array of integrated services in a professional environment while maintaining the integrity and confidentiality of student information throughout the student lifecycle. **Responsibilities**: **Qualifications**: - Education: - Undergraduate degree preferably in Computer Science, Business, or another quantitative discipline with a strong systems orientation **Experience**: - 2 years’ progressive experience working in PeopleSoft Higher Education - 2 years’ experience working in a customer service environment - 2 years’ working in a post-secondary environment preferred Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: - Positive, outgoing attitude with genuine customer service orientation and natural inclination to interact with people in a professional, respectful, and diplomatic manner - Ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple conflicting priorities in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions - Strong interpersonal skills with sensitivity to student issues, and the ability to exercise judgment appropriately to take difficult but necessary positions as needed - Excellent troubleshooting ability along with hands-on experience in technical support - Critical thinking skills to analyze problems and collect information required to make an accurate conclusion - Intermediate computer skills in Microsoft Office - Ability to process information with high levels of accuracy - Ability to work in a manner that is compliant with confidentiality requirements - Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with technical and non-technical users and confidence in dealing with a variety of people and situations - Resourcefulness with a strong sense of accountability and initiative - Judgment, analytical, and problem-solving skills with a consultative and collaborative approach to addressing issues and opportunities - Familiarity with FIPPA regulations and working knowledge of secure data transfer protocols - Knowledge of the services provided by the Office of the Registrar and a base understanding of the structure of the University environment (programs, faculties, services & requirements) preferred **Western Values Diversity**: **Please Note**: Effective September 7, 2021, all employees and visitors to campus are required to comply with Western's COVID-19 Vaccination Policy.
