CNC Machine Operator

**Minimum of 3 years of Machine Operating Experience**

Position Overview

Key Responsibilities
- Ensure **Health & Safety standards, Safe Operating Procedures, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)** are strictly followed.
- Verify all **safety guards** are installed and remain in place while machines are in operation.
- Follow all **manufacturer safety guidelines** and workplace safety policies.
- Conduct **routine maintenance checks** to keep machines in optimal working condition.
- Respond promptly to **machine defects or alerts** (lights, alarms, visual indicators) and notify the supervisor/maintenance team as required.
- Remove scrap materials and maintain **housekeeping and cleanliness** in and around the work area.
- Make **machine adjustments during production** to maintain quality and efficiency.
- Communicate with the **line leader/supervisor** regarding machine performance and production flow.
- Perform **first-case checks** at the start of each product run to confirm accuracy.
- Carry out **in-process quality checks** according to QA SOPs and work instructions.
- Resolve issues on the production line quickly to minimize downtime and maintain efficiency.
- Follow **product recipes and standards** (e.g., quantities, weights, measurements).
- Load **packaging materials** (film, labels, etc.) onto machines and verify product-to-packaging accuracy.
- Perform **changeovers** for different product sizes or packaging formats.
- Change totes, bins, and related materials as required.
- Regularly monitor production to ensure **products meet quality specifications**.
- Utilize **Statistical Process Control (SPC) systems** to verify weight and product conformity.
- Complete all **production and quality paperwork** accurately and on time.
- Set up, start up, and shut down equipment safely and according to procedures.
- Perform **additional duties as assigned** to support production and team objectives.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Previous experience as a Machine Operator or in a similar manufacturing role is preferred.
- Proficiency in operating forklifts is a plus.
- Experience with quality control measures in a production environment is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of warehouse operations and packaging processes will be beneficial.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work under pressure are essential for success in this role.

- **Hours**: 40 - 60 hours per week

Pay: $18.00-$23.00 per hour
