Overview

Roechling Industrial is an industrial plastics manufacturer located in Orangeville ON.

We are seeking a (several) skilled CNC Operator(s) to join our manufacturing team.

The ideal candidate will have experience operating various CNC machinery, including CNC milling & plastic welding machines.

This role requires proficiency in CNC programming, blueprint reading, and mechanical knowledge to produce high-quality precision parts. The CNC Operator will be responsible for setting up, operating, tear downs, change overs and maintaining CNC equipment while ensuring safety and quality standards are met. Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate CNC machinery such as CNC milling and plastics welder machines according to specifications.
  • Program machines using CNC programming languages and Fanuc controls to produce precise components.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings to ensure accurate manufacturing processes.
  • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on equipment to minimize downtime.
  • Use hand tools, calipers, micrometers, gauges and other measuring instruments for quality control inspections.
  • Adjust machine settings based on measurement feedback to maintain tolerances.
  • Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment as needed for material handling and packaging.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area adhering to safety standards.
  • Assist in assembly or packaging of finished products as required.
  • Follow safety protocols related to plastics welding, machining, and equipment operation.

Experience

  • Proven experience operating CNC machinery such as CNC milling machines, plastics welding machines in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of CNC programming languages and controls.
  • Familiarity with interpreting technical drawings.
  • Experience with blueprint reading, mechanical measurements (calipers, micrometers, gauges), and quality control procedures.
  • Ability to operate hand tools, plastics welding equipment, and basic math skills necessary for machining tasks.
  • Experience with forklift operation is a plus.
  • Basic understanding of programmable logic controllers (PLCs) is advantageous
  • Prior experience in manufacturing or machining industries demonstrating attention to detail and safety awareness is required.
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding role & environment - pushing, pulling, lifting, twisting, bending, standing on a concrete floor
  • This role is vital in ensuring the production of high-quality components through precise machining processes while maintaining safety standards across all operations.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.19-$26.86 per hour

Expected hours: 42 per week
