This pivotal role is the engine of our transportation network, responsible for the efficient planning, dispatching, and tracking of FTL and LTL shipments across North America. Dispatch & Load Planning (The "Dispatcher" Aspect)** - **Carrier Sourcing & Negotiation**: Proactively source, qualify, and negotiate rates with carriers for full truckload (FTL) and less-than-truckload (LTL) shipments using various load boards (e.g., Loadlink), internal databases, and direct calls. - **Dispatch Execution**: Clearly and accurately dispatch load information to carriers/drivers, including pick-up/delivery schedules, special instructions, and required documentation (BOLs, customs paperwork). **2. Coordination & Tracking (The "Logistics Coordinator" Aspect)** - **Real-Time Monitoring**: Utilize Transportation Management Systems (TMS) to track and trace all in-transit freight, providing proactive updates to internal teams and clients. - **Issue Resolution**: Act as the first point of contact for issues that arise during transit (delays, breakdowns, border/customs challenges), implementing swift and effective contingency plans. - **Documentation & Compliance**: Ensure all required logistics documentation (proof of delivery, bills of lading, customs clearances) is accurately processed and maintained. **3.
