Burlington, Canada Precision Record Pressing Inc Full time

This position operates on a weekly rotation of days (7am-3pm), afternoons (3pm-11pm), and nights (11pm-7am) and is eligible for the afternoon and night shift premium._

**Responsibilities**
- Provide maintenance to machinery, equipment, and the facility to ensure uninterrupted production
- Troubleshoot and repair minor electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic machinery and other industrial equipment as required
- Perform downtime repair work; troubleshoot and diagnose malfunctions, identify opportunities for optimization
- Monitor each department for machine repairs and complete as needed.
- Follow monthly preventative maintenance (PM) on production-related machinery such as:

- Manual / Automatic record pressing machines. Vinyl Extruders
- Ensure machinery and equipment meets all safety requirements and guards are in place.
- Assist the other Mechanics as required
- Work to the Occupational, Health and Safety Act
- Ensure housekeeping is orderly and maintained
- Perform duties and tasks in a safe and responsible manner
- Report the existence of any hazard or potential risk to direct Team Leader
- Maintain proper documentation including logs, maintenance records, safety and environment reports
- Perform other related duties as assigned by Team Leader or management

**Physical Demands**
- Required to stand for entire duration of shift
- Must be able to lift up-to 50lbs intermittently
- Engage in frequent bending, stooping, squatting, pushing and pulling of parts and part containers -Involves repetitive motions
- Due to the open environment of the warehouse, must be able to work in various weather conditions
- Adaptable to relative sound pressure levels
- Use of hands and wrist continuously in a controlled environment

**Requirements/Qualifications**
- Have a demonstrated mechanical and technical aptitude
- Knowledge of PLC’s preferred
- Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and shop drawings
- Ability to meet Physical Demands of the role
- Ability to read and write English and perform basic math problems and data entry
- Strong multi-tasking and time management skills.
- Demonstrate leadership skills - inspire others and lead them through influence.
- Able to work with independently with mínimal supervision within an empowered team environment.
- A safety conscious individual with a strong work ethic.

Weekly rotation of days and afternoons

Days: 7am to 3pm

Afternoons: 3pm to 11pm

Eligible for afternoon shift premium
