**Type of profile needed**
EgR is looking for an experienced transportation safety & loss control advisor. The person must be able to travel across Canada, as our clients are located in the provinces of Quebec, Ontario, Alberta and British Columbia.

**Job description**
**Your tasks**
Reporting to the Director of Claims, this position is responsible for the internal management of claims from registration to processing and notification to the insurance company. The position may require travel within the region.
- Receive notices of claims from clients;
- Report claims to insurers and follow up as required;
- Accompany and advise clients in the settlement of claims;
- Resolve any discrepancies between the insurer and the client; Ensure that claims are properly terminated;
- Advise the persons involved in client files of any problematic insurance coverage situations

**Job Requirements**
- Claims adjuster or damage insurance broker license (asset);
- Experience in claims adjustment (asset);
- Availability to respond quickly to client requests;
- Ability to keep abreast of new trends and case law;
- Ability to act with tact and interpersonal skills;
- Good relationship with insurers;
- Good knowledge of commercial insurance claims issues;
- Knowledge of the main office automation tools (Microsoft Office Suite);
- Bilingualism, French and English (spoken and written)
