Join our team as our newest Quality Technician This position is on our Day shift.
**Your daily responsibilities will include**:
- Participate in the process of APQP
- Submit completed PPAPs to customers
- Review and communicate customer specific requirements as related to product and process
- Create control plans and related instructions for; Rec. inspection, WIP inspection and Ship inspections
- Write control plans and champion PFMEA activities and documentation
- Perform CAP studies and GRRs
- Analyze and evaluate the collected data and determine the results of the given information
- Review material test results from supplier sources an 3rd party laboratories
- Understanding and assisting the continuous improvement methods and opportunities
- Utilizing 8D or other customer directed methods to establish Problem Identifications and Resolution
- Review and disposition supplier PPAPs as required
- Conduct various audits as directed by the manager(s)
**What are we looking for?**
- At least 2 years of experience working in a manufacturing environment.
- Post-secondary education in Quality on Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
- Problem solving knowledge.
- Must be familiar with verniers, micrometer, tape measures, dial indicators, gage blocks, height gauges, force dial, torque meter wrench, etc.
- Ability to read blueprints.
- Good understanding of CMM layouts.
- Auditing experience is an asset.
