As a Telecom and IT Field Service Technician you will be responsible for reviewing, analyzing, evaluating, and troubleshooting various types of PBX and IT systems, provide user support, perform diagnostics and provide resolutions.

**Technical Responsibilities**
- Providing service and customer support during field visits or dispatches
- Stage, configure, and install PBX and IT systems
- Managing all on-site installation, repair, and maintenance tasks
- Review, analyze, evaluate, and troubleshoot cabling infrastructure (installation of new cables may be required)
- Provide end user support
- Solve problems and troubleshoot issues and implement a resolution
- Timely completion of dispatch paperwork and reports (Site Surveys, Service Dispatch Documentation, Project Updates)
- Operate company vehicle in a safely manner

**Required**
- Strong understanding of LAN, WAN, TCP/IP, Wi-Fi, Routing & Switching
- Avaya IPO and Mitel 3300 and MiVB experience.
- Knowledge of QOS, VLAN, IP and/or digital PBX phone systems and/or VOIP technology
- Understanding of Windows Server and Desktop Administration
- Working knowledge of access controls and alarm systems installation and troubleshooting
- Valid G Drivers License with a clean driving record
- Able to travel in Ontario with potential overnight stays
- Ability to work at heights
- Ability to climb ladders
- Ability to work flexible hours (overtime hours if required)
- Must have strong communication skills and can work well alone and with others
- Computer competent, able to login to network and windows equipment and reconfigure
- Accountability, adaptability, assertiveness, dependability, initiative, and responsiveness are essential
- Desire and demonstrated ability to continuously learn new technologies and processes
- Strong computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office
