**Job Description**:
**WHAT’S THE JOB?**
With over 25 years of experience in the remote camp business, Horizon North is a leader in remote camp catering. Many of our applicants have been referred by existing employees who recommended Horizon North to their friends and colleagues.

As a remote **Baker**, reporting to the Executive Chef, you will be responsible for a full bake including breads, rolls, pastries and some special dietary needs of our clients. **This is a rotational position working 14 days on, 14 days off in a remote camp site.**

**Your work will include**:

- Production of fresh breads, pizza dough, pastries, pies, cakes, muffins, and other pastries
- Planning and developing dessert offerings
- Produce fresh dessert offerings per day
- Produce a selection of fresh breakfast pastries
- Working with Chef and Camp Manager to ensure clients needs are met

**Qualifications**:
**WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?**
- Applicants must have a current Food Safe certificate.
- Level 1 First Aid certificate is an asset.
- Large scale camp baking experience required.
- Red Seal or other certification is an asset.
- Experience in accurately producing weekly inventories.
- High standards in maintaining a clean and organized Kitchen.
