The Millcroft Inn and Spa is hiring for a full-time Laundry Attendant to join our team

**Position Summary**: To ensure that laundry is cleaned and maintained in a manner consistent with a superior quality hotel.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Providing personalized and exceptional guest service at every given opportunity.
- Retrieve, sort and load soiled laundry into washing machines.
- Load clean laundry into the dryers.
- Sort and folds laundry when dry.
- Ensure items to be ironed are put into automatic presser machine (Niagara properties only).
- Count, sort and check laundry items to ensure proper inventory of all items
- Inspect all items for damage, thinning, stains, wrinkles and discards.
- Logging information for count, damage, thinning, stains, wrinkles and discarded items (Niagara properties only).
- Monitors all machines and reports any machine breakdowns to the Maintenance department.
- Having a thorough knowledge of Lais Hotel Properties Limited products and services.
- Actively seeking ways to meet guests’ product or service needs.
- All other duties as assigned.

**Professional Requirements**:

- WHMIS training an asset.
- Previous up-selling and/or sales experience is considered an asset.
