**Garment Technician - Bridal Gown Seamstress / Dressmaker**

We are seeking an experienced seamstress to join our team.

Oremony Design Corp is an independent bridal design and manufacturing house based in Vancouver, Canada. **Job Types**:
Full-Time (only)

**Schedule**:
Monday to Friday 8am to 4pm

**Location**:
East Vancouver

**Start Date**:
As soon as possible

**Responsibilities**:

- Sew wedding gowns assigned by the Operations Manager in a timely manner while achieving a high level of quality
- Double check all sewn items prior to handing them to the fulfillment departmentMeasure and verify that all gowns meet our quality standards

Look for fabric flaws, construction defects, and production issues
Identify any problems that arise before and after sewing and fix them

**Qualifications**
- Experience operating an industrial sewing machine and industrial pressing iron
- Specialty in handling lace, beadwork, satin, chiffon, and tulle is a plus.
- Well-organized with strong attention to detail

**Wage**:
Negotiable based on skills and experience

If chosen to interview, you will be required to perform a sewing test.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 - 40 per week
