**JOB SUMMARY**:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented **Warehouse Associate** to join our team at **Baja Fulfillment Services Inc.** In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of warehouse operations, including
- receiving, sorting, packing, labeling, and shipping materials. You will play a key part in maintaining a safe, clean, and organized work environment while ensuring that orders are fulfilled accurately and on time.

**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Load, unload and move products and materials by hand or using basic material handling equipment.
- Perform other material handling activities such as counting, weighing, sorting, packing and unpacking.
- Performs quality inspections on all incoming and outgoing materials.
- Sorts and places items on racks, shelves, or bins per warehouse procedures.
- Picks, packs, and prepares orders for shipment.
- Processes packages for shipping and handles returned merchandise.
- Conducts routine physical inventory checks and replenishes stock as required.
- Maintains a clean and organized workspace in accordance with safety regulations.
- Performs required administrative tasks; prepares all required reports and correspondence.
- Participates in continuous improvement and safety initiatives.
- Performs other duties as assigned by management.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- 1-2 years related warehouse experience preferred
- Forklift certification is an asset
- Familiarity with basic warehouse procedures and inventory systems
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work with mínimal supervision
- Team player with good organizational and time-management skills
- Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm
- Acute attention to detail
- Proven ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines

**PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT**:

- Lift and move up to 50 lbs without assistance
- Walk, bend, and stand for long periods of time
- Exposure to warehouse environment with temperature variation and noise
- Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) such as steel-toed boots and gloves

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 44 per week

Additional pay:

- Overtime pay

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime
- Weekends as needed

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Hamilton, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
