Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Project Estimator to join our team. As a Project Estimator, you will play a crucial role in analyzing construction projects and providing accurate cost estimates. This position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to effectively communicate with clients and team members.

**Duties**:

- Analyze project plans, specifications, and other documents to determine project requirements
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to gather necessary information for accurate cost estimation
- Utilize construction estimating software such as ProCore and Planswift to prepare detailed cost estimates
- Conduct research to gather data on materials, labor costs, and market prices
- Prepare comprehensive project proposals and bid documents
- Review and negotiate contracts with subcontractors and suppliers
- Monitor project costs throughout the construction process and provide updates as needed
- Collaborate with the project team to identify value engineering opportunities
- Participate in pre-construction meetings and site visits as required

**Skills**:

- Strong knowledge of construction estimating principles and techniques
- Proficiency in using construction estimating software such as ProCore and Planswift
- Excellent mathematical skills for accurate calculations of quantities and costs
- Strong analytical skills to interpret project plans and specifications
- Effective communication skills to interact with clients, subcontractors, and team members
- Ability to negotiate contracts with subcontractors and suppliers
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: $21.00-$28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 40 per week
