Under the direction of the Manager Talent Acquisition, the Human Resources Consultant - Talent Acquisition coordinates the University's staff recruitment, selection, onboarding, probationary assessment, and exit interview processes in accordance with established standards. Participating in the selection process with a specific focus on matters of employment law, collective agreement requirements, human rights, and employment equity. Provides assistance to academic departments around posting vacancies, immigration matters, and general recruitment questions. Assists in the development, implementation and evaluation of human resources policies, programs and procedures. Completes special projects. The Human Resources Consultant supports other areas of the Human Resources function. Provides excellent customer service. Works collaboratively with the Human Resources team to ensure the timely, accurate and effective delivery of Human Resource services.

This position is considered a 12 (twelve) month contract with the University and the salary range will be $64,789 - 83,489 annually.
